Slate: This blueish-gray rock is quarried near Charlotte, NC and is used mostly for driveways.
Granite: We carry two different sizes #57 and #78. This gray rock is quarried near Benson, NC. Granite is also great for driveways and drainage jobs.
Limestone: We carry many varieties in this stone. ABC, #78, and Riprap.
Rooks ABC Rock: Meets MAG and PAG specs. Aggregate base is typically used as a base course in roadways, as a base course for cement pads and foundations, and as backfill material for underground pipelines and other underground utilities. "Base course" refers to the sub-base layer of an asphalt roadway. Generally consisting of larger grade aggregate, spread and compacted to provide a stable base for further layers of aggregates or asphalt pavement. Aggregate base course is often referred to as ABC.
Rooks Rip Rap: Rock or other material used to armor shorelines, streambeds, bridge abutments, pilings and other shoreline structures against scour, water or ice erosion. It is made from a variety of rock types, commonly granite, limestone or occasionally concrete rubble from building and paving demolition. It is used to protect coastlines and structures from erosion by the sea, rivers, or streams. It is used on any waterways or water containment where there is potential for water erosion.
River Rock: This cream and tan colored rock comes in two sizes, ¾ in. and ¼ in. It is a beautiful choice for pathways, landscape beds and water features.
